The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival will be held May 23-26, 2008 with all the fun, food, rides, contests, music and its amazing giant strawberry shortcake!

However, Due to dramatically increased security and insurance costs, the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival Board is considering -- for the first time since 1958 -- canceling its annual Memorial Day Weekend parade. "We would greatly regret disappointing the many organizations who annually participate in the parade," says Board President Tom Elliott, "but it is important that the Festival to make a profit so we can continue to donate sizable funds to the many worthy local charities." The campaign goal is to raise $40,000 to cover parade expenses.
