The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival
offers the public many fun and exciting Special Events.
Below are the Events at the 2009 Strawberry Festival.
FRIDAY – MAY 28  
1:00 P.M TO 10:00 P.M. WRISTBAND DAY $25 entitles wearer to all rides, all day
4.00 P.M.* TINY TOTS KING & QUEEN CONTEST

WELCOME AND GIANT STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE CUTTING CEREMONY

The world's largest strawberry shortcake will be cut by the Mayor and Miss Garden Grove and served FREE to all who attend. Festival sponsors will be thanked for helping to underwrite parade and festival expenses, allowing greater Festival proceeds to be contributed to local charities. (Location: Showmobile at Main & Acacia)
SATURDAY - MAY 29

Floats, marching bands, local dignitaries, clowns and equestrians are all part of the exciting Saturday morning parade.  Come see Miss Garden Grove Cori Coleman and her court, Miss Outstanding Teen Bree Morse.

Also in the parade will be the Senior King and Queen and the Tiny Tots King and Queen plus Miss Huntington Beach and her court. Kids of all ages will enjoy meeting Warner Bros. Roadrunner, Knott's Berry Farms' Snoopy, and Ronald McDonald!
