Welcome And Giant Strawberry Shortcake Cutting Ceremony
The world's largest strawberry shortcake will be cut by the Mayor and Miss Garden Grove and served FREE to all who attend. Festival sponsors will be thanked for helping to underwrite parade and festival expenses, allowing greater Festival proceeds to be contributed to local charities. (Location: Showmobile at Main & Acacia)

  is donating food for the festival’s annual pre-parade VIP breakfast at the Garden Grove Community Center, 11300 Stanford Avenue at Euclid. Scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, ham and bacon will be served for $5.00 per person paid at the door with all proceeds benefiting We Give Thanks, a charity annually providing Thanksgiving dinners for thousands of needy people. |

 Floats, marching bands, local dignitaries, clowns and equestrians are all part of the exciting Saturday morning parade. Come see Miss Garden Grove Leah Cecil and her court, and Miss Outstanding Teen Jessica Tonti. Also in the parade will be the Senior King and Queen and the Tiny Tots King and Queen. Kids of all ages will enjoy meeting, Knott's Berry Farms' Snoopy, and Ronald McDonald! Come wave to your favorite TV and film stars Rico Rodriguez (Modern Family), Raini Rodriguez (Disney’s Prom) as Grand Marshals plus Anneliese Van der Pol (That’s So Raven), Ed Arnold (The Real Orange), Kate Linder (The Young & The Restless), Valery Ortiz (Diary of a Single Mom), Fivel Stewart (Jake Stevens: The Last Protector & Blue Dolphin Kids), Tucker Albrizzi (Hop & Big Time Rush), Alisa Reyes (All That & The Bold & the Beautiful), Courtney Robinson (Tim & Eric Awesome Show & Dark House), Christina Robinson (Dexter) and Ashley Boettcher (Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer). |
